EM360Tech is a B2B technology publication that focuses on topics that affect the wider technology industry. With over 640,000 C-suite IT leaders who read EM360Tech, I was asked by their Editor to do some freelance work for them.
The challenge
Making microservices easy to understand to IT leaders while optimising the content for SEO was going to be difficult. Trying to explain this software engineering concept required me to think about what phrases or terms people were going to search for when looking for content on microservices.
The solution
I wrote a 1,000+ in-depth piece, explaining what microservices are, how they work and the advantages of using microservices in the context of building applications. Using my SEO and digital marketing skills, I created an article that covered everything IT leaders would want to know about microservices.
Results
Once the article was published on the EM360Tech website, it led to me securing EM360Tech as a client as part of my freelance journalism, content and data analytics business, alongside the Press Gazette.
